Briarcrest's Ali Howard, daughter of Hall of Famer Tim Howard, commits to Tennessee soccer

Briarcrest Christian School striker Ali Howard has committed to Tennessee women's soccer.

Howard − daughter of Tim Howard, the Hall of Fame goalkeeper who started at the 2010 and 2014 World Cups and is the sporting director and a non-controlling owner of Memphis 901 FC − is a Class of 2025 recruit. She scored 18 goals and had six assists as a junior and helped the Saints reach the Division II-AA quarterfinals in 2023.

"This would not be possible without the constant support of my family, friends, coaches, teammates, trainers and, of course, God!," she posted on Instagram. "I can’t wait to represent my home state in orange and white!"

The Lady Vols finished 9-7-4 last season and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
