Breaking down the brackets: MIAA announces high school football playoff field

The MIAA announced the high school football playoff field on Sunday.

Five Cape Cod high schools — Barnstable, Dennis-Yarmouth, Sandwich, Bourne and Mashpee — made the field. Barnstable and Mashpee will host a home game, while the other three teams will take a road trip to start their postseason.

Last season all three playoff teams (Falmouth, Sandwich, Mashpee) lost their first round playoff games. These five teams will look to make sure that doesn't happen this season.
