Breaking: Adrian Peterson Was Reportedly Arrested Sunday
NFL running back Adrian Peterson was reportedly arrested on Super Bowl Sunday, according to a report from TMZ Sports.
Peterson, 36, spent the 2021 season with the Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks.
On Sunday morning, the former Oklahoma Sooners star was reportedly arrested for alleged domestic violence on an airplane.
TMZ Sports had the details:
Law enforcement sources tell us the ex-Vikings running back was arrested and booked for felony domestic violence Sunday at LAX — this after airport police got a call at about 8:30 AM over a disturbance on an aircraft leaving LAX and attempting to take off en route to Houston.
We’re told the plane actually had to turn around on the runway and link up with the gate again after an apparent verbal and physical altercation between a man and woman.
Unfortunately, this is not Peterson’s first run-in with the law.

Peterson was reportedly taken into custody on Sunday, while his wife reportedly stayed on the plane. The flight was reportedly able to take off after returning to the gate.
The NFL running back was likely in Los Angeles for a Super Bowl event.
Super Bowl 56 is set to kick off at 6:30 p.m. E.T. The game will air on NBC.
