Brad Pitt Runs Into Ex Angelina Jolie's Father Jon Voight and Her Brother James Haven at Art Exhibit

Brad Pitt had a run-in with some of his ex's family members. The actor recently stepped out to attend Moneyball director Bennett Miller's art exhibit at Gagosian Gallery in Beverly Hills, and ran into Angelina Jolie's dad, Jon Voight, and brother, James Haven.

An eyewitness tells ET that Pitt seemed happy at the art gallery event, which he attended with Ines de Ramon. Brad and Ines were friendly and nice to event goers and said hi to and spoke to other celebrity attendees."

The eyewitness adds that "Brad and Ines were sweet together and stayed close to each other throughout the event. Brad seemed like he was in a good mood and happy at the Bennett Miller event at the Gagosian. He was with Ines talking and having a nice time. Brad did not speak to Jon."

Meanwhile, an eyewitness tells The Sun that "plenty of people noticed how awkward it was that Brad was in the same room as Ange's family, and it's not a big space."

"I'm told James was amicable and acknowledged Brad, but I didn't see them talking," the eyewitness adds. "They mostly stood apart for the duration of the event speaking with friends."

Britney Spears' ex, Sam Asghari, was also in attendance at the event. The actor snapped a pic with Pitt, before he was seen chatting with Jolie's family.

Jolie and Pitt announced their split in 2016, and have spent the last seven years in an up and down legal battle. They share Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 18, Shiloh, 17, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15.

Back in 2016, Voight reacted to his daughter's divorce, telling ET, "It must have been pretty severe for this to happen. I don't know much yet, but [I] plan on speaking to her and the kids very soon."

Earlier this month, Haven gave a rare interview about him, Jolie and her kids, explaining on the 90who10 podcast why it's "natural" to be protective of his sister and her kids.

"Any time I'm blessed to be in their presence, I want to be in their presence," he said. "I set my life up so I can be present with whatever the situation... I want to be there for them or for her, whatever she's going through."
