The Boys' Jack Quaid confirms Across the Spider-Verse role

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse spoilers follow.

The Boys and Scream VI star Jack Quaid has confirmed who he played in his Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse cameo appearance.

The animated sequel features plenty of Spideys from across different universes and mediums, with the actor playing a particularly tragic version of the superhero.

If you missed seeing him name in the credits or online (or haven't seen the film yet and just want it spoiled for yourself!) Quaid himself tweeted out a picture of his Peter Parker and spoke a little bit about it.

"For anyone wondering who I play in #AcrossTheSpiderVerse… it’s THIS little munchkin," he captioned his photo of his knitted jumper-wearing Peter. "So unbelievably grateful to the Spider-Verse team for letting me be a small part of such an awesome film. Very excited to see it again. #PeterParker65."

His Peter Parker is the one from the same universe as Hailee Steinfeld's Spider-Gwen/Gwen Stacy. Unfortunately, this Peter experimented on himself and transformed into The Lizard.

Spider-Gwen had to kill him, having had no other choice. She didn't know that he was actually Peter at the time though, making it even more tragic.

And audiences are loving the film too, as it secured the biggest opening day for a film at the US Box Office this year, beating out even major live-action releases.
