New Boy Band Doc Promises Maximum Nostalgia

While NSYNC may have said "bye bye bye" to fans when they "went on hiatus" back in 2001, they've certainly been saying lots of hellos as of late. The iconic boy band that stole hearts around the world in the late 1990s and early 2000s dropped their first song in more than two decades in September 2023. "Better Place" was released as part of the soundtrack for Trolls Band Together, and the five heartthrobs reunited for a press tour that involved presenting at the VMAs and eating hot wings together.

If you want even more boy band action, however, Paramount+ has you covered. The streamer recently announced that they've greenlit a new documentary delving into the creation of turn-of-the-century groups like NSYNC, the Backstreet Boys and 98 Degrees. In addition to a heavy dose of nostalgia, the doc also promises some juicy behind-the-scenes drama regarding their meteoric rises and often controversial breakups.

Here's everything we know about the Paramount+ boy band documentary:

What is the release date of the Paramount+ boy band documentary?

Since the documentary was just greenlit and announced, we're still a long ways away from a release. It likely won't be making its way to streaming until 2024 at the earliest.
