Bournemouth to hire new president of football operations

Former Roma general manager Tiago Pinto is set to join Bournemouth as president of football operations.

The 36-year-old will oversee recruitment at the Vitality Stadium as part of a new recruitment structure under the Bill Foley-led ownership.

Former Bournemouth defender Simon Francis has already become the club's first-team technical director after replacing Richard Hughes who left the club for Liverpool.
