Boot Barn is coming to Cleburne, on the heels of a new Fort Worth store

A Boot Barn is coming to Cleburne.

The nation’s largest western and work wear retailer plans to start construction in June at Nolan River Mall, 1663 W. Henderson St. The store next to Planet Fitness could be finished just in time for Christmas or early in January.

The Boot Barn will be 15,000 square feet, records show.

The publicly traded company has grown rapidly in recent years and is aggressively expanding its footprint nationwide. Boot Barn added 44 stores in the past 12 months, to a total of 333 in 41 states (including more than a dozen in Dallas-Fort Worth).

In Fort Worth, a Boot Barn is moving into a former Toys R’ Us building along Interstate 30 west of downtown.
