Bones star Emily Deschanel lands next lead movie role
Bones star Emily Deschanel has landed her next movie role.
The actress, who also starred in Devil in Ohio and My Sister's Keeper, will lead the science-fiction romance ReEntry.
Variety reports that Deschanel will star alongside The Fault in Our Stars, True Blood and Homeland actor Sam Trammell as well as The Little Mermaid and Doctor Who's Noma Dumezweni.

Deschanel will play Eleanor, a woman struggling to cope after the mysterious disappearance of her husband, played by Trammell. He went missing after Dumezweni's character enlisted him in a scientific experiment.
One day, Eleanor's husband turns up out of the blue – but he is actually a version of himself from a parallel world. She's faced with a choice: does she continue to wait for her actual husband or try and make things work with this new version of him?
Maulik Pancholy, Natalie Gold, Sanjit De Silva, and Maggie Geha also star.
Director Brendan Choisnet told the publication: "ReEntry is about the shifts that happen in all relationships. The chemistry that Emily and Sam created with their nuanced and specific performances was nothing short of masterful, and I can’t wait to bring it an audience.
"With powerful and moving turns by Noma and Maulik, we couldn’t be more thrilled to have all their talents bring this very personal story to life."
