New boba shop serving ramen, popcorn chicken is opening in Folsom: ‘We’re so excited’

The Sacramento area welcomes a new boba shop this weekend.

Boomba Tea is celebrating its grand opening in Folsom at 10 a.m. Saturday, according to its social media.

“We’re so excited for this weekend!” Boomba Tea representatives wrote in an Instagram post.

The restaurant serves up boba tea, ramen and snacks 2784 E Bidwell St., Suite 300, near the Palladio shopping mall. It neighbors Bel Air grocery, Jack’s Urban Eats and BJ’s Restaurant in the Broadstone Marketplace plaza.

What’s on the menu at new Folsom boba tea shop?

According to Yelp, the menu at Boomba Tea includes a variety of fruit teas, smoothies and milk teas.

Customers have a choice of add-ons in their drinks, such as boba — tapioca balls — and popping boba.

Drink flavors include mango, watermelon, Thai tea and matcha taro.

Boomba Tea also has snacks, such as popcorn chicken and musubi.

According to its Instagram page, the boba shop will offer four different ramen options specially curated by its in-house chef.
