Bob Barker is getting honored in a major way on what would've been his 100th birthday. The well-known The Price is Right TV host received his own mural at the Corn Palace in Mitchell, South Dakota, with the image showing the late star holding a microphone next to the iconic The Price is Right wheel.

A fan from the Midwest shared a photo of the mural on X, noting its location. They then added in the replies, "Today would have been his 100th birthday." As the mural is at the Corn Palace, the image is made entirely of corn in varying shades. The theme of the 2024 murals is famous South Dakotans, and Barker grew up in the Rosebud Indian Reservation in Mission, South Dakota.

According to news outlet Keloland, the image was finished on Dec. 11, just in time for the milestone occasion. It is one of three large murals that will grace the building throughout the upcoming year, with the other two murals including former NBA star and Mitchell native, Mike Miller, and Olympic gold medalist Billy Mills.

Fans took the time to honor Barker, who was born on Dec. 12, 1923, with sweet tributes in the comments.

One wrote, "Love this! Bob Barker brought so much fun and entertainment to so many of us. I aways admired his love for animals and for giving them a voice. People who care about animals are the coolest people. He would have been 100 years old today."

"Making me miss home🥲 happy birthday in heaven #bobbarker," responded another, as a third said, "This is beautiful!!! On what would have been the 100th birthday of the legendary #BobBarker, long time iconic host of the @PriceIsRight!!"

The late TV host, who led The Price is Right from 1972 to 2007, passed away on Aug. 26 at the age of 99 of natural causes.

His longtime partner, Nancy Burnet, shared a statement saying, "I am so proud of the trailblazing work Barker, and I did together to expose the cruelty to animals in the entertainment industry and including working to improve the plight of abused and exploited animals in the United States and internationally. We were great friends over these 40 yrs. He will be missed.”

Since his death, fans of Barker have honored the star in many ways, with the corn mural the latest, marking what would've been a major landmark for him.
