Blue Ivy and Rumi Carter Are the Best Dressed Kids at the 2024 Super Bowl
Blue Ivy Carter is back at the Super Bowl after attending last year, and this time, her 6-year-old little sister Rumi joined her. Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s two daughters appeared on the field ahead of the game. Blue, 12, wore a varsity jacket, jeans, and sneakers while posing for photos. Rumi, meanwhile, was in a Givenchy leather top, skirt, black tights, and boots.
Blue just attended the Grammys last weekend with her parents. She wore a custom Vivienne Westwood dress there.
Blue celebrated her 12th birthday last month. This marks a very rare outing for her little sister as well. Beyoncé and Jay-Z have generally kept Rumi and twin brother, Sir, away from public events.
Not much is known about the Carter children’s personalities, as their parents have given them a mostly private childhood. But on Blue’s 10th birthday, her grandmother, Tina Knowles, shared a little about her.
“The day that you were born was one of the best days of my life,” Tina wrote. “I was really praying and pushing your mom to have you on January 4, which is my birthday. I really wanted you to share my birthday, but like your auntie Solo, you decided to come when you were good and damn ready, and that was on January 7, three days after my birthday. Knowing you and your personality now, I realize that you needed your own day because you were such a queen, and you are so very special! You can sing dance, play basketball, play, volleyball, paint draw, sculpt, sew, write poetry, write songs, create, act, play the piano! I could go on and on. Because there’s really nothing that you can’t do. You are funny and beautiful and graceful, kind, and so smart. I could not ask for a better granddaughter Ms. Blue Ivy Carter! I could not be more blessed, grateful, and completely in love with another human. You truly bring me joy!!❤️❤️❤️ Grandma T.”
