The 2024 class was the first to start their high school years during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their first year was marked by frequent transitions between online, hybrid and in-person learning, with approximately 30% of North students beginning school virtually in fall 2020.

BHSN Principal Matthew Stark lauded the class of 2024 for their commitment to education in spite of these challenges, their support and passion for diversity initiatives and their commitment to "service over self," including members of the graduating class who plan to serve in the U.S. military.

"Despite the upheavals, they continued their present academic growth, and they should be greatly commended for it," Stark said during his address. "Our students have helped each other celebrate accomplishments, worked together to bring change, and reached out to support each other during challenging times."
