Here's a rundown of the high school sports events in the Bloomington area for the week of Oct. 30-Nov. 4:

Tuesday, Oct. 31

EDGEWOOD 42, WEST VIGO 32: Mustangs win season and WIC opener without starting forward Macey Crider (ankle), going up 30-10 by halftime and hanging on. Madi Bland had 12 points, Ally Bland 10 and Ava Laroche 7 for Edgewood.

VINCENNES RIVET 48, EASTERN GREENE 43: Rivet scored the first 11 points and hung on as Eastern Greene sank six 3-pointers in the second half. Keylee Hudson had 15 points, Bianca Wyatt nine and Chyann Padgett 7 for the T-Birds in their season opener. Rivet led 30-19 at halftime and 40-29 after three periods.
