It's time to clear your schedule, Bling Empire fans, because Netflix’s most over-the-top reality series is back for a dramatic third season, complete with new cast members, moves, and love affairs.

Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger (a few of them, actually), including Kim Lee and Kevin Kreider's budding romance, Dorothy Wang’s move to Manhattan, Cherie Chan and Jessey Lee’s affair, and a very mysterious knock on the door. Clearly, this cast knows how to bring the drama.

To stir the pot, even more, LA's elite squad is inviting Devon Diep along for the ride in season 3. Buckle up, because I've got everything you need to know about the newbie, from her career, to her life and net worth.

Who is Devon Diep?

Devon is an actress, singer, and producer who was previously based in NYC and Boston, she wrote in a 2021 essay she penned for Boston Man Magazine. She's now located in Los Angeles, where she will definitely get up to some shenanigans with the rest of the Bling Empire crew.

Is she Kevin’s ex?

Devon enters the show under some strange circumstances. The trailer shows her entering a room to some dramatic music, and someone says, “you’re his....ex girlfriend.”

It's unclear whose ex she is, exactly, but according to her IG comments, one contender could definitely be Kevin.

“I have never seen Kevin happier so thank you for coming back ❤️,” wrote Christine Chiu beneath Devon’s post of the season 3 trailer. Leah Qin adds, “Kevin is another person after @devondiep come back ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.” So, uh, there’s that!

How did Devon get her start?

Devon grew up in Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood, where she spent most of her days in her parent’s convenience store after school, she wrote in the Boston Man Mag essay.

“Luck came when I signed with a talent agency after winning a local competition. It started a successful modeling and acting career,” Devon shared. “My versatile looks have gained me appearances in campaigns and commercials for well-known brands.”

What brands has Devon modeled for?

You're going to want to take a deep breath before trying to read this list in one go. Devon says her list of clients includes Estée Lauder, Donna Karan, Macy’s, Axe Men’s Body Spray, Uggs, Reebok, Puma, Converse, Coke, Disney, Nickelodeon, Bose, Toyota, Lexus, Target, L.L. Bean, Walmart, Foxwoods Casino, Mohegan Sun, Timberland, Bailey’s Irish Cream, Skyy Vodka, Pinnacle Vodka, Apple, Verizon, AT&T, and more.

She posts YouTube videos.

Devon is clearly a big singer. Here she is covering "I Can’t Make You Love Me."

And here, she sings a mean version of "All I Want For Christmas Is You."

She is refugee from Vietnam.

Before moving to Massachusetts, Devon lived in Vietnam with her family, but they fled the country and became refugees.

“I often remind myself that my parents escaped to a foreign country with no money, had to learn another language, and risked their lives for us to have a better future than what we had in Vietnam. I promised myself that I must succeed and make them proud,” she wrote in the magazine article.

She was in the Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps.

Devon’s father was in the Navy, so naturally she wanted to be just like him growing up, she shared.

“I was in the Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC) for 4 years. I am professionally trained to use pistols, shotguns, and rifles and am a candidate to be a Massachusetts State Police Certified Firearms Instructor,” she wrote. You can mark that as a reality TV first.

You may recognize her from her other TV work.

Devon has also had a number of acting credits. She's appeared in The Heat, Ted, Top Gear, and had a recurring role in Defending Jacob, an Apple TV+ show with Chris Evans.

What is Devon’s net worth?

This is somewhat unclear, but according to one site, Devon’s net worth now sits at around $1.1 million, per popularnetworth.com.
