Black cat with unusual eyebrows shoots to Instagram stardom: 'Most definitely on fleek'

Cornelius Cornbread has a face that's as adorably unique as his name.

The Black Bombay cat, who lives with his owner Karen Mellette in Nashville, Tennessee, has garnered quite the following on social media for his all-white eyebrows. Plus, with his piercing yellow eyes and silky black coat, the sweet feline looks somewhat out of a cartoon.

Cornelius, 4, was adopted by the Mellette family after Karen's husband stumbled upon a litter of kittens, later named "Coleslaw" and "Beans," near his work.

Mellette, who has been documenting Cornelius' journey on social media since 2018, told The Daily Mail that his discoloration is attributed to the lack of fur between his eyes and ears.

"The combination of the sparse black 'brow' hair and the unique rounded shape of the white skin showing through make him appear to have well-groomed eyebrows," she told the publication. "His brows are most definitely on fleek."

She often shares videos and photographs of her feline friend along with his adoptive siblings -- cats Bea, Nellie and Polly Patches, and Duke, a Shitzu -- and dresses each up in bowties and other festive costumes.

"He is very sassy and most definitely rules our house, but mostly, he’s just a clingy snuggler that sleeps curled up on me or next to me," Cornelius' mom continued.
