Blac Chyna, who goes by her birth name, Angela White, more often these days, is opening up after a recent cosmetic procedure caused an unfortuante health complication.

The model took to Instagram on New Year's Eve 2023, to share the update via a black and white filtered video. She was sprawled in bed with a white bandage wrapped over the top of her cleavage, admitting, “Yup, I did it again,” as she zoomed in on her chest to give a “quick story time about the breasts.”

Earlier in the year, she'd come to the decision to reduce her breast implants, explaining that she'd reached a point where she was just "kinda over it." She continued, "I'm tired of the fake look; they’re too big for my body, too big for my frame, and it just doesn’t fit me as a person anymore."

When she began, she had a 585cc implant, leading her doctors to advise she go down a little at a time to "see how [her] skin retracts" and avoid being left with "saggy skin."

She went down to a 385cc implant, which ultimately caused a condition called capsular contracture. Normally, scar tissue will naturally form around a breast implant, creating what breastcancer.org describes as a tissue capsule that helps keep the implant in place. However, sometimes that capsule becomes hard and dense, which squeezes the implant and may even shift the implant out of place, causing pain.

White called it "the worst thing that could possibly happen," adding that "it just was so painful." She knew it was a risk of the surgery, but she called the fact that "it actually happened" to her "crazy."

"Out of all the times that I had got my breasts done, it’s never happened [before]," she explained.

Thankfully, they were able to take the encapsulated implant out, and further reduce it to 190ccs on Dec. 21. So far, things seem to be going well with the most recent procedure.

She also shared that she recently had a successful second session to remove one of her tattoos before going on to thank her fans for their support through it all, expressing excitement for the new year—including one of her resolutions, which is to become a runner.
