Billy Baldwin has threatened to reveal secrets about Sharon Stone’s private life in a furious response to her claim she was told to sleep with him to improve their “on-screen chemistry”.

Stone, 66, said this week that the film producer Robert Evans had urged the pair to have sex as a means to enhance their performances when co-starring in the 1993 thriller, Sliver.

But Baldwin, 61, who is the brother of fellow Hollywood actor Alec, expressed his anger on social media after her discussion of the incident on the Louis Theroux Podcast and questioned her motivation for doing so.

“Not sure why Sharon Stone keeps talking about me all these years later?” he said in a post on X accompanied by an image from the movie.

“Does she still have a crush on me or is she still hurt after all these years because I shunned her advances?

“Did she say to her gal pal Janice Dickinson the day after I screen tested and ran into them on our MGM Grand flight back to New York ... ‘I’m gonna make him fall so hard for me, it’s gonna make his head spin’?

“I have so much dirt on her it would make her head spin but I’ve kept quiet.”

He added: “The story of the meeting I had with Bob Evans imploring him to allow me to choreograph the final sex scene in the photo below so I wouldn’t have to kiss Sharon is absolute legend.

“Wonder if I should write a book and tell the many, many disturbing, kinky and unprofessional tales about Sharon? That might be fun.”

Dickinson, 69, an American model and TV personality, has since issued a statement denying Baldwin’s story, saying: “As I recall, Sharon never said that to me.

“I am not sure why Billy Baldwin is bringing this up. I adore them both but that never happened.”

During the podcast, Stone claimed that one day during production of Sliver, she was called into Evans’s office to have a conversation about the chemistry between her and her co-star.

“He’s running around his office in his sunglasses, explaining to me that he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin, because if I slept with Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin’s performance would get better,” said the Basic Instinct star.

“And we needed Billy to get better in the movie, because that was the problem.”

Stone said that the producer, who died in 2019, believed if she slept with Baldwin they “would have chemistry on screen, and if [she] would just have sex with him, then that would save the movie”.

Stone also mentioned the incident in her 2021 memoir, The Beauty of Living Twice, but did not name Evans or Baldwin at the time.
