Who do Bills play if they beat Steelers: How to determine Buffalo's next playoff opponent

The Buffalo Bills host the Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild-card round of the playoffs at 1 p.m. Sunday. But the Bills will know on Saturday evening who would be coming to New Era Field next.

The other two AFC playoff games are on Saturday, so Buffalo's potential playoff opponent for the Divisional round will already be determined.

The No. 1 seed Baltimore Ravens were awarded a first-round bye. If the No. 2 seed Bills win, they'll play the second-highest remaining seed after the wild-card games.

AFC playoff schedule

Saturday, Jan. 13

  • No. 5 Cleveland Browns at No. 4 Houston Texans, 4:30 p.m., NBC

  • No. 6 Miami Dolphins at No. 3 Kansas City Chiefs, 8 p.m., Peacock

Sunday, Jan. 14

  • No. 7 Pittsburgh Steelers at No. 2 Buffalo Bills, 1 p.m., CBS
