The 2024 Grammys took place today, February 4, with their usual dose of red-carpet glamour and spectacular performances—this time from the likes of Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, SZA, and Joni Mitchell, among others. On the red carpet, celebrity families made big splashes, and during the ceremony, some of our favorite celebrities won big, received honors, and shared intimate moments with loved ones and on stage. And, as always, there was also some drama.
Ahead, see everything you may have missed from the 66th Annual Grammy Awards.
Karol G won big
The singer made history as the first woman to win Best Música Urbana Album, for 2023’s hit Mañana Será Bonito.
Glowing in a ruched silver gown and pink hair, she thanked her fans. “Hi, my name is Karol G, and I am from Medellín, Colombia,” she said. “This is my first time at the Grammys, and this is my first time holding my own Grammy. I’m super happy, I’m super nervous, and I’m super excited to be in front of so many legends that I admire and respect. My album has given me the best memories of my whole life. My fans give me motivation and inspiration … I promise to give you my best always! I hope this is the first of so many.”
Taylor Swift dropped a bombshell and broke a record
Just when we thought Taylor Swift was about to announce that Reputation (Taylor’s Version) was dropping at the Grammys, she turned the tables, instead breaking the news that a totally new album is coming soon. “Okay, this is my 13th Grammy, which is my lucky number—I don’t know if I had ever told you that,” she joked onstage, accepting her award for Best Pop Vocal Album, for 2022’s Midnights. “I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand-new album comes out on April 19. It’s called The Tortured Poets Department.”
Also tonight, Swift broke the record as the first person to win four Grammys for Album of the Year. This year, she won the prize for Midnights.

The exes (who briefly dated and broke up in 2016) both attended the 66th annual Grammy Awards tonight, and, while they didn't have an official run-in, they did slide past each other. Fans noticed that when Swift made a late entrance to the ceremony, she glided nonchalantly past Harris—who didn't seem to react.
He did, however, react later. During host Trevor Noah's opening monologue, Harris was seen laughing and clapping to a joke about Swift's recent slate of appearances at several NFL Kansas City Chiefs games, Entertainment Tonight reported.
