Using the average expenditure costs for residents ages 65 and over, as sourced from the Bureau of Labor Statistics 2022 Consumer Expenditure Survey for residents aged 65 and over, the average expenditure costs were calculated for each state. All data was collected and is up-to-date as of April 9, 2024.
