Big Slick and ‘Anchorman’ funny man to perform; also, two KC Symphony holiday events

David Koechner has toured the country since he was in Kansas City for his annual co-hosting gig at the Big Slick charity event in late June.

The Tipton, Missouri, native, known for roles in “The Office” and “Anchorman,” has taken his standup act from Portland, Oregon, to Raleigh, North Carolina, with stops in St. Louis, Boston, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Des Moines and elsewhere.

Now Koechner will complete his cross-country comedy tour in his adopted Midwest hometown. He will perform at the Kansas City Improv at 7:30 and 10:15 p.m. Dec. 16 and 7 and 9:45 p.m. Dec. 17, with a bonus show, “The Office” Trivia with Todd Packer, set for 3:30 p.m. Dec. 17.
