Big RBI tallies, no-hitters headline Jackson area girls athlete of the week poll

The regular season is just about over in the Jackson area.

Games are still going on early this week, partially because of the weather causing cancellations.

The TSSAA playoffs begin this week with district tournaments.

For now, though, it’s time to vote for the Jackson area athlete of the week!

Congratulations to Crockett County softball’s Lynden Cole on winning last week’s poll. Cole totaled 605 of 1,504 votes (40.2%).

Fans are able to vote once per hour. The poll closes at 7 p.m. Thursday.
