Big Changes Are Coming To Joanna Gaines' Hit Magnolia Show

Joanna Gaines' Silos Baking Competition is back and bigger than ever. What started out an hour-long special last year will now be a six-episode series on Magnolia Network. And the upgrades don't stop there.

Participating bakers will now have the chance to win $100,000—that's quadruple the amount offered to the winner of the Silos Baking Competition one-hour special. The winner's dish will also be available on the menu at Silos Baking Co. in Waco, Texas for a limited run this summer, from June 26 to September 4.

"It's now become a bigger competition where 25 talented bakers are competing in groups of five for a spot in the final. And the winner will have their treat featured in our bakery's summer menu and win the grand prize of $100,000," said Gaines in the all new trailer for Silos Baking Competition.

The baking competition is filmed in front of a live audience, and will take place at the Silos property, which is also home to the Magnolia Market and Silos Baking Co.

While Gaines can surely handle judging duties on her own (she does have three cookbooks under her belt), she's recruited the likes of Andrew Zimmern, Zoë François, Casey Corn, and Abner Ramirez to be guest judges.

Ready to watch it all unfold? Silos Baking Competition will premiere on Sunday, May 28 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on Magnolia Network, and stream on MAX and discovery+ the same day.
