As the year comes to an end, Google once again shared its "Year in Search" video to show what people were looking up throughout 2023, but this year is a little different.

In honor of the 25th anniversary of the search hub, they narrowed down searches to localities to show what people in each area were searching most. Nationally, things like "Barbie" and the Grimace Shake trended, but we like to do things differently in Memphis.

Memphis ranked third in the U.S. in top trending searches for "Swarm," an Amazon Prime TV show about a fan going to extreme lengths for her favorite R&B singer. It also ranked first in the U.S. in top trending searches for "temp services" which are businesses that match employers to employees.

Memphians love music, and the tours searched this year show the variety of genres listened to in the home of the blues. Here are the most searched tours in Memphis this year.
