Beyoncé Renaissance Tour: Here’s why your best chance to score Atlanta tickets expires tonight.

Welcome to the Renaissance.

This is not a drill.

Beyoncé is coming to Atlanta this August for her first tour in more than six years and you now have two shows to score tickets to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The Georgia Beyhive was one of six U.S. stops to get a second show added to the tour. Beyoncé will be in Atlanta Friday, Aug. 11, and Saturday, Aug. 12.

Beyoncé’s hugely successful seventh studio album called “Renaissance” will be the backdrop of the worldwide superstar’s world tour that kicks off this May. Her U.S. tour will start in July in Philadelphia. The tour includes Southern venues in Nashville, Louisville, Charlotte, Tampa, Miami, Houston and Atlanta, with a final stop in New Orleans.

Ticket information

Tickets to the Atlanta shows will likely sell out before general sales via Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan system, which failed Taylor Swift fans when “unexpected” traffic prevented millions of Swifties from purchasing tickets last November.

The Verified Fan system is meant to ensure fans, rather than resellers, get concert tickets. Verified Fan registration allows Ticketmaster to authenticate your account and places your request for tickets into a lottery system. Demand for Renaissance tickets is expected to be high.

Beyoncé is distributing tickets in three different Verified Fan sales: BeyHive Presale powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan; Citi Presale powered by Verified Fan and the General Verified Fan Onsale.

You will receive an email the night before tickets go on sale to tell you if you will receive an access code or if you have been waitlisted. The access codes will be texted the day before tickets go on sale. If you are not selected, you will automatically be added to a waitlist.

“If there is more demand than there are tickets available, a lottery-style selection process will determine which registered Verified Fans get a unique access code and which are placed on the waitlist,” according to Ticketmaster. “A Verified Fan access code does not guarantee tickets, it just gives you access to join the sale.”

Atlanta’s Verified Fan ticket registration ends tonight

To become a verified BeyHive fan, register on the LiveNation Renaissance World Tour website. Registration for Atlanta presale tickets is open through Thursday, Feb. 2, at 11:59 p.m. in the first of three registered groups. Registered fans will receive an invitation to buy tickets from Ticketmaster

If you are willing to drive to other concert venues, increase your odds of receiving an invitation by registering for more than one group. Register for the first group for Atlanta access and the third group for access to several venues in the South.

The third pre-sale group includes tickets to Charlotte, North Carolina; Kansas City, Missouri; Louisville, Kentucky; Nashville, Tennessee; and New Orleans, Louisiana. Registration for Group C is open through February 16 at 11:59 p.m.
