An online boutique which lists a fictitious address in Olathe has been flagged by the Better Business Bureau after dozens of complaints.

Wrenley & Brynn, an online boutique with over 6,000 followers, was reported to the BBB in April 2024 after numerous customers alleged the merchandise ordered was not delivered or not as pictured. Many, according to the report, described lesser quality clothing than promised, and said their packages had a return address in China.

The bureau graded the business an ‘F,’ noting there have so far been 26 complaints closed in the past three years.

A customer based in Washington said in a BBB complaint that they spent $33 on a dress that looked nothing like the ad they saw on Facebook. Customer service allegedly told the customer they were ineligible for a return because they used a 10% discount.

“I went on (Facebook) to leave a review and I’ve now been blocked on (Facebook). I went to their website to leave a bad review, but my comment has not been loaded,” the customer wrote in the complaint. “At this point, I know the money is just a loss, but I want to warn other consumers this is a scam.”

The Facebook page associated with the site lists their address as 18364 W. 119th St. in Olathe, but the BBB confirmed the address was not valid. It’s not known where the company is actually based.
