Bette Midler to Kayleigh McEnany: Go f--k yourself
Singer Bette Midler’s never been known to hold her tongue — or her tweets.
The Divine Miss M had harsh words for White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany after the Harvard-educated flack boasted that the Wayne County, Mich., board of canvassers had breathed life into the Trump administration’s last-gasp efforts to stay in power after President-Elect Joe Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 presidential race.
With all due respect, Kayleigh, go fuck yourself. IMHO, Harvard has a lot to answer for. https://t.co/FkEeNaBTst

While McEnany is correct that two Republican canvassers initially refused to certify votes in Wayne County despite any evidence of fraud, that pair later agreed to certify the results, but called for an independent audit.
“With all due respect, Kayleigh, go f—k yourself,” Midler tweeted. “IMHO, Harvard has a lot to answer for.”
IHMO is internet slang for “In My Humble Opinion.”

President Trump also cheered that early decision, which temporarily re-energized his dwindling hopes of staying in power.
He and Midler have insulted each other on Twitter directly, including a 2019 exchange in which Trump, while on a diplomatic trip to Great Britain, tweeted the “Wind Beneath My Wings” singer was a “washed up psycho.”
Midler referred to that war of words as her own “personal Battle of the Bulge.”
McEnany, who also studied at Georgetown, has been one of the president’s staunchest supporters in his efforts to overturn the election results. Fox News, which is also infamously friendly to President Trump and his agenda, was forced to cut away from an unhinged speech McEnany delivered last week where she accused Democrats of welcoming election fraud without any credible support for that claim.
