Walmart's best Memorial Day deals are finally here: Get up to 65% off bedding, beauty and more

The first day of summer is June 20, but in our book the beginning of summer really begins on Memorial Day weekend, when you're probably slathered up in sunscreen and are firing up the grill for the first time of the year. Memorial Day always takes place on the last Monday of May — this year it's May 27 — which means that in addition to loading up on hamburger patties and hot dog buns for your cookout, you're likely getting wind of all of the great Memorial Day sales that are live now.

Quick Overview
See 48 more

Case in point: Walmart has been quietly marking down loads of great summer-ready items ahead of Memorial Day, like the brilliant gadget that "makes any pair of shoes comfortable for my wide feet" and the Neutrogena moisturizer Jennifer Garner loves. We even spotted a Classic Stanley tumbler and a lightweight summer duvet set on sale for less than we've seen them in the past.

Plus, there are plenty of other retailers having Memorial Day sales this weekend too, from Amazon to Wayfair — and everything in between. Even if you're looking to refresh your beauty routine for summer and want some expert-recommendations, we have a guide to all of the dermatologist-recommended skin care we've ever written about that also happens to be on sale.

That said, none of these deals are expected to last much longer than Memorial Day itself, so we recommend you don't dillydally if you find something that piques your interest.

Last year, Jennifer Garner shared with InStyle that Hydro Boost is one of her favorite products.

"I can instantly tell the difference — it just looks fresh and plump and better. There are all these little micro-lines that once I put this on, they go away," she said. "This is 48 hours of moisture that you're locking in with one thing, and then I don't have to worry about it. … I think it's my favorite product we've ever put out."

She's been a devout Neutrogena fan over the years. So much so that she became an ambassador for the brand.

Hydro Boost's main ingredient is hyaluronic acid, which binds water to the skin’s surface to help give you smoother, hydrated, more supple skin. The fast-acting gel moisturizer is also lightweight, oil-free and non-comedogenic, so it's designed not to clog your pores.

This thick and hydrating cream from Olay is formulated with niacinamide and B3 vitamins, which work to brighten the skin and improve a dull complexion. Hyaluronic acid draws in moisture molecules to keep skin soft, supple and hydrated throughout the day or night. It's also fragrance free, making it a good option for those with sensitive skin and noses.

It has an astounding almost nearly 27,000 reviews on Walmart and a 4-star rating. One five-star reviewer had this to say: "I am approaching a milestone birthday soon and have been improving my skincare regimen for several years now. In doing so, I have added several Olay moisturizers into the mix. This one is one of my favorites and it keeps my face feeling smooth and hydrated. Additionally, I can proudly say that I don't have any wrinkles and am turning 50 soon. I say this moisturizer plays a huge role in that, and I'll continue to use it for years to come."

Elizabeth Arden is a premier name in skin care, and this highly emollient moisturizing cream is a particular standout. It's clinically and dermatologically tested, safe for most skin types and, when used nightly as recommended, helps keep skin supple and soft.

Experts agree that most people don't apply enough sunblock — 1.5 ounces for most adults — so a high SPF option can act "like an insurance policy to give you the best level of protection possible," said to Dr. Joshua Zeichner of Zeichner Dermatology when interviewed about the best sunscreens.

“This sunscreen has been clinically tested and shown to give better sunburn protection compared to sunscreens with lower SPFs,” Zeichner continued. Neutrogena’s Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen is lightweight, fast-absorbing and has a non-greasy, matte finish that can be used all over the body.

Never loses your phone, keys, luggage or wallet again with a pack of Apple AirTags. Use them to keep all of your most prized possession nearby and easy to find. In fact, on a recent international flight, I stuffed an AirTag into my checked luggage, just in case. It was a good thing, too. Once I landed, I was able to check the status of the AirTag and see that luggage had been left behind in Paris, so it saved us from having to waste time at baggage claim looking for a bag that would never arrive. Thankfully our luggage was found and sent on the next flight over, but the AirTag spared us a lot of stress and heartbreak during its journey home!

If you already have AirTags, or if you think you'd get the most use out of them keeping tags on your four-legged friends, then these pet collar AirTag holders are an excellent accessory. Keep tabs on where the cat and dog are at all times by checking the AirTag location in the app on your phone.
