The Best Twitter Reactions to ‘Cocaine Bear,’ Our New Favorite Carnivore
There's only one thing better than watching Cocaine Bear in theaters, and it is reactions to other people who watched Cocaine Bear in theaters. Everyone has lost their minds for a fuzzy murderer and I am here! for! it! Director Elizabeth Banks' comedic thriller about a bear who runs rampant through the woods after consuming multiple bricks of cocaine in the 1990s (inspired by a true story) is inspiring a lot of shock, awe, and jokes as hilarious as the movie itself. If you need a park ranger to help guide you through the woods of the internet safely, here are the best tweets about Cocaine Bear.
Cocaine Bear isn't exactly subtle. Like Women Talking, it's exactly what it sounds like; and like Women Talking it's something to celebrate. I'll be honest, there's a lot more gore in Cocaine Bear than I expected. But maybe that's on me. Ultimately I didn't give a flying flip because the cast is so funny and I was kind of rooting for the bear. The film stars Alden Ehrenreich, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Ray Liotta, Brooklynn Prince, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Keri Russell, Margo Martindale, and Matthew Rhys (The Americans reunion!!!) but the true star is the bear herself. At least, that's what the internet seems to have decided... and I agree!
Cocaine Bear is an allegory about what happens when you give a bear cocaine

Speaking from experience?
COCAINE BEAR should show the bear alienating all its friends, letting precious moments with its children slip away while it chases one more high pic.twitter.com/Zl7Efcgjcg

There has been some Conservative backlash to Cocaine Bear alleging that the film glorifies drug use. I'm going to respectfully agree to disagree.

One of my favorite things about the Cocaine Bear phenomenon is the internet's slow realization that the bear is female, and therefore Mother.

Our stories matter!!!!!!!!!
A bear on cocaine. Sounds crazy, no? But in our little village of Anatevka, you might say every one of us is a bear on cocaine…

Even Matthew Rhys joined in on the fun, pretending he was the one in the Cocaine Bear suit. (The titular character is actually a CGI creation brought to life by performer Allan Henry, who also did motion capture/stunts on a Hunger Games movie, a Hobbit movie, and several superhero movies from the Marvel and DC universes.)

This tweet, from Cocaine Bear actor Scott Seiss, presupposes that there won't be articles published to supplement your viewing experience of Cocaine Bear... so here I am, embedding it in one. Gotcha! I'm a little trickster, just like the cocaine bear!

Casual reminder that Do Revenge is one of of the silliest, funniest, most underrated movies from the past year. It couldn't be less like Cocaine Bear, but I had to say it.
