Ankle Skinny Jeans

I know Gen Z says skinny jeans are out, but I totally disagree because they tuck perfectly inside boots during the fall and winter. I love the fit of my Spanx Ankle Skinny Jeans so much that I’ve since purchased additional pairs after I first shared about trying them. The fact that they simply pull on and don’t have buttons to fasten was something to get used to, but I now appreciate that they fit and feel like leggings whenever I wear them. The front pockets don’t function, but the two back pockets are usable and act as a great spot for my phone. Just like other reviewers, I’ve found that these run true to size. But I’m happy I did take the brand’s suggestion to order them in petite because I’m 5-foot-2-inches tall. Spanx recommends petite sizing for anyone under 5-foot-4-inches, while tall is recommended for anyone who is 5-foot-9-inches and above. AirEssentials Crew

Described as a “throw on and go comfort,” the AirEssentials Crew is my most recent Spanx addition to my closet. It’s so cute and perfect for lounging or working out that it’s high on my list to scoop up for my mom this Christmas. The AirEssentials Fabric feels like a cross between the softest sweatshirt you own and your favorite moisture-wicking athleisure style. It’s both cool to the touch and can still keep you warm at the same time, which is rare to find. And it also has a four-way stretch and a beautiful and unexpected pleat on the back that really elevates an otherwise simple crewneck sweatshirt. The brand sent this to me to try for free in Dark Palm, an earthy dark green perfect for fall and winter, but you can also shop it in black, white, navy, teal, or pale pink in sizes XS to 3X.

AirEssentials Half Zip

It’s a bold statement to make, but the AirEssentials Half-Zip is, hands-down, my absolute favorite product of the year. I have worn this lightweight sweatshirt multiple times each week ever since the brand sent it to me for free to test. Just like the crew, the Half Zip features the same breathable fabric, and it absolutely lives up to Spanx’s hype that it will feel “silky against your skin.” The small slits by your thumbs are genius for preventing the fabric from awkwardly gathering by my hands, and the half zip allows me to either wear the pullover opened or closed, depending on how chilly I feel. I’ve worn this with everything from leggings to jeans, and I know I’ll wear the Half Zip on repeat for years to come. Choose from Spice (a beautiful burgundy), Powder (white), Butterscotch (rust), Dark Palm, or navy in sizes XS to 3X.

Velvet Split Hem Wide Leg Pant

The holiday parties I attend each year never have a fancy dress code, but if I was going to something more formal, I would absolutely wear these velvet pants. They have the same “throw on and go” ease as my beloved skinny jeans, and the wide leg looks like they would feel like sweatpants. But because they’re made from velvet, you can pair them with a sweater or bodysuit and heels for a sleek look that’s as comfortable as it is sophisticated. Finding dresses with sleeves that I can wear throughout the fall and winter is tricky, but this Spanx style checks that box. It’s made from a ponte fabric that is structured but still has four-way stretch, according to the brand, and I love that it has pockets that are actually designed for you to use. You’ll also find a contrasting zipper on the black and additional zippers on the sleeves that are as functional as they are stylish.
