Prince William attended the Earthshot Prize awards in Singapore today as part of his four-day visit to the nation. Though his wife, Kate Middleton, wasn't able to attend the third annual ceremony—she's back in the UK helping their son, Prince George, prepare for exams—there was no shortage of star power walking the green carpet, including hosts Hannah Waddingham and Sterling K. Brown as well as Lana Condor, Cate Blanchett, and many more.
“I choose to believe that future generations will look back on this decade as the point at which we globally took collective action for our planet,” Prince William said in a speech at the ceremony. “The moment we refused to accept the voices of denial and defeatism, and instead, became the architects of change towards a healthy and sustainable world. We owe it to the generations that will follow us to work together both for their future, and for the future of our planet.”

Prince William shared a joke with the awards co-hosts, actors Hannah Waddingham and Sterling K. Brown. Aptly for the eco-themed awards, William walked the carpet in a recycled look: the same blazer he wore for the ceremony two years ago.
Waddingham stuck to the event's color theme with a glittering black and green strapless evening gown.
Though Remembrance Day in the UK isn't until November 11, both of the hosts and William were also sporting red remembrance poppy pins, which are traditionally worn to honor fallen troops.
Cate Blanchett, who is a member of the Earthshot Prize council which determines the recipients of the annual awards, also made an appearance alongside the prince. The actress wore a glitzy three-piece suit by Stella McCartney with wide-leg trousers in tones of silver and gold.
She also made a statement with oversized bronze ear crawlers and a pared back peach-toned lip.
Cate and Earthshot Prize CEO Hannah Jones, who wore an impactful long black piece with silver metallic shoes.
Lana Condor, who served as one of the presented for the awards, wore a dymanic, one-shoulder black ensemble.
“I am so lucky to be dressed by Stella McCartney, a British fashion designer known for her sustainable and cruelty free approach to fashion,” Lana told T&C ahead of the event. “Fashion can play a crucial role in encouraging sustainability…Sustainable fashion practices, such as using eco-friendly materials and ethical manufacturing, can help reduce the industry’s environmental footprint as well as serve up some looks.”
Humanitarian Nomzamo Mbatha was also a presenter for the awards, and opted for a flowing, midnight blue gown with cutout details.
Members of the band Bastille—Will Farquarson, Dan Smith, Kyle Simmons, and Chris Wood—were in attendance.
Singer-songwriter Freya Ridings chose a bold shoulder statement for the event.
Actor Donnie Yen and his wife Cissy Wang also walked the carpet.
Former New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern looked chic in a draped silver look with pearl drop earrings.
