Picture this: It's Friday night. You have a few buddies over. (One might say two to four.) Chips, snacks, beer—hell, for the sake of this exercise, you even have pizza rolls tucked away in the back of your freezer. You could break out a board game, or simply try to make conversation with each other. That sounds awful, doesn't it?
Well, reader—again, for the sake of this exercise!—you have a PlayStation 5. And you and your friends miss the days of couch co-op, when you'd fling Wii controllers around and pummel each other in GoldenEye 007. So, what do you play? As you surely know, there's about a trillion multiplayer options in PlayStation's vast library. To help you out at this proverbial house party, we rounded up our favorites multiplayer video games. Whether you're a sports fan or a Call of Duty lifer, it's all here. Enjoy those pizza rolls.

Fortnite
If you haven't heard of Fortnite by now, I don't know what to tell you. It's either your cup of tea or it's not. Though the third-person shooter didn't create the formula for multiplayer battle royale, it certainly made the process so easy that anyone can join in. If you're being honest, you're probably here on this list because you've already played so much Fortnite that your brain is screaming for you to try something else.
