Who was the best girls high school athlete in OKC area last week? Your votes decide

The Oklahoman's girls spring athletes of the week poll for April 22-29 presented by Landmark Fine Homes is now live at oklahoman.com.

Voting is open until noon Sunday.

The winner of last week’s poll was Rylee McLanahan of Edmond North soccer.

Here are this week’s nominees in golf, soccer, slowpitch softball, tennis and track.

Girls athletes of the week

Tokara Henderson, So., Heritage Hall tennis: Henderson teamed up with Eloise Nasr and claimed the No. 2 doubles crown at Tulsa Union’s invitational last week.

Julie Hoehner, So., Washington track: She won the shot put with a toss of 38 feet, 2 inches at Velma Alma’s meet last week.

Miah Luong, Jr., Carl Albert golf: Luong was the individual champion at a regional tournament with a 77. She led the Titans to a runner-up team finish, qualifying for the Class 5A state tournament.

Helen Olszewski, Jr., Casady soccer: Olszewski finished the regular season with 22 goals and 27 assists. The Virginia commit helped the Cyclones shatter Heritage Hall's undefeated record with a 2-0 win.

Ryann Phillips, Sr., Moore slowpitch softball: Phillips played a key role defensively in the Lions’ regional wins over Norman North and Jenks. The Murray State signee helped lead No. 5 Moore back to the Class 6A state tournament with her efforts in the outfield and hitting.
