Seattle has many names, including the Emerald City and the Coffee Capital of the World.

It’s home to the first Starbucks and Seattle’s second-largest coffee retailer, Tully’s Coffee, which is headquartered in the city.

But WalletHub determined San Francisco as the best city in the country for coffee lovers.

To find the best coffee cities, WalletHub looked at 100 of the most-populated cities in the U.S. across 12 key metrics. Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale.

“We then determined each city’s weighted average across all metrics to calculate its overall score and used the resulting scores to rank-order our sample,” the report says. “A total score of 100 represents the most favorable conditions for coffee lovers.”

These key metrics included the average price per pack of coffee, the average price of a cappuccino, average spending on coffee per household, affordable coffee shops, coffee shops per capita and Google search traffic for coffee.

Orlando, Florida; Honolulu; and Portland, Oregon, rounded out the top five cities for coffee lovers.
