Bengal Cat Uses Fancy Coffee Maker Like a Regular Barista

There are some mornings when a cup of coffee is the only thing that gets us out of bed. Luckily for one person they live with a Bengal cat who has a real fixation on their coffee machine. So much so that people are joking the kitty is basically their barista.

Couscous gets it. Nothing beats a warm cup of java in the morning.

Couscous was caught on camera performing a little "maintenance" on the machine by his owner, who we're pretty sure is used to this sort of thing from their kitty. In the video, Couscous reached for one of the machine's levers but can't quite grasp it. Something tells us that coffee cup is mere inches away from being knocked off the counter too.

"My coffee machine was broken, this guy comes in....Doesn't seem qualified at all," the cat's owner joked.

"Never judge a book by its cover. Couscous can fix anything in the world!" they added in the caption.

But the owner didn't need to tell the comments section, they believed in the cat's ability to "repair" the machine. "It's why Bengal cats are so amazing. Mine is project manager to any renovation we do," joked one person. "Let me just get this.. yep right here.. that should do it," someone else teased. "He must have lied on his resume, but he's cute and shows a willingness to learn," a third commenter chimed in. "He looks like he doesn't know what he's doing at the same time knows exactly what he's doing," one person wrote.

All About Bengal Cats

Certainly one of the most distinctive cats out there, Bengal cats are usually recognizable by their spotted appearance. They almost look like small leopards. These markings are called rosettes and come in a variety of colors like rust, chocolate brown, or black. As for their actual coats these can come in a range of colors like golden, rust, brown, orange, sand, and ivory. Some people have even noticed that certain Bengals have a coat that shimmers in the sunlight — like it was coated with glitter.

Bengals tend to be medium to large cats that can weigh between 8 and 15 pounds or more and can be between 13 to 16 inches tall. These cats have playful and active personalities. Similar to their big cat ancestors, these cats are known for being intelligent, energetic, confident, and alert. They're the perfect pet for people who are active and can tend to their need for engagement. Bengals are a ton of fun and, as this cat owner understands all too well, will always keep you on your toes.
