The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey has seen the last of their days on Twitter. The 19-year-old actor posted a goodbye message to fans on the app. In their alleged final tweet, Bella wrote, "Twitter it’s been fun. My account will still be active for now but I will not be on here! Thank you my gay army and all the rest. Love you," alongside a gif of themself as Ellie on the HBO series.

Bella wrote the message one day after Twitter removed blue checkmarks from legacy verified accounts — which were verified for being "active, notable, and authentic" before Elon Musk took over as the app's CEO. The de-verification process also affected celebrities, public figures, and government officials including Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Lady Gaga, and more.

The reason why Bella is leaving the platform is unclear, whether it's because of this new development or other factors. Either way, Bella's fans showed support by replying to their initial message with well wishes and sweet comments.

"Bella, you are amazing & we love you! 🫶," one fan wrote, while another chimed in, "We’ll miss you. Stay awesome! 😎🤘."

Others believed Bella's departure may have been due to trolls sending them hateful messages online (which is something the actor has spoken on in the past, FYI). "This is so disheartening to see I'm sorry Bella you didn't deserve any hate," someone wrote in the replies. Another fan even asked if Bella had an Instagram account so they could still follow them.

While we're sad to see Bella's departure on the social media platform, we do love reading the flux of support they've received from their "gay army." 🥹
