Former Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha understands why people will back Pep Guardiola's side to complete another Treble this season but says he "doesn't see it".

City can book a place in the Champions League semi-finals if they beat Real Madrid at Etihad Stadium on Wednesday evening and then face Chelsea in the FA Cup last four on Saturday.

Slip-ups by title rivals Arsenal and Liverpool last weekend also mean that if City win all their league games they will be crowned champions for the fourth straight year.

"The run they have been on is massive," Onuoha told BBC Radio 5 Live's Football Daily podcast. "Most players never go on a 20-something unbeaten run but these have done it again, and quietly.

"There has been a lot of focus on Arsenal and Liverpool performing so well and it has gone under the radar. Now they arrive here, they will be excited about the challenges.

"They will believe in themselves and if they can execute I understand why people believe they will win another Treble. I don't see it, but they will give everything to give themselves an opportunity to do it."
