New Bedford area offers fun food outings Memorial Day weekend: NB Eats

From a Taylor Swift brunch to a release of a new ale at Buzzards Bay Brewing, with Memorial Day ahead there's plenty to do in New Bedford beyond its historic Memorial Day Parade and events.

Buzzards Bay new ale release party

On Saturday, May 25 from 4 to 7 p.m., Buzzards Bay Brewing in Westport is having an official release of Sow & Pigs, a refreshing Kölsch-style ale that not only tastes great, but also supports a great cause. 50% of the proceeds from this beer go towards the Buzzards Bay Coalition, benefiting the community and environment.

And that's not all - every pint purchased during the release party enters people into a raffle for a chance to win a $100 gift card to Little Moss Restaurant. With limited indoor seating, you can enjoy your treat on the go or during a quick break. Available from 7am to 2pm Monday through Thursday, and 7am to 5pm on Fridays to Sunday.
