Because of weather concerns, screening of 'Barbie' set for Worcester Common moved to JMAC

WORCESTER — Because of the high temperatures and potential for thunderstorms, the Movies on the Common presentation scheduled for 6 p.m. June to will move indoors to the Jean McDonough Arts Center, 20 Franklin St., according to information provided by the Downtown Worcester Business Improvement District.

The 2023 movie "Barbie," starring Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling and America Ferrera, will be screened.

The theme for the evening is "Youth Pride Night," and the event is produced in partnership with SWAGLY and Pride Worcester. The show will also feature a drag performance by Diva D and music from DJ TMAN2.
