Things were certainly cooking for the cast of The Bear during the 2024 SAG Awards.

The FX original series—which stars Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Abby Elliott—won big during the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Award ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 24, taking home a total of three awards. The show received four nominations prior to the ceremony.

The comedy-drama series, which streams on Hulu, follows the story of young chef Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto (played by White), after he comes home to Chicago to run his family's dysfunctional restaurant in the wake of his brother's death. The hit show has gained increasing popularity since its premiere in 2022, and was already expected to be one of the top winners from Saturday's ceremony.

The Bear was among the nominees for Best TV Comedy Ensemble, Best TV Comedy Actor (White and Moss-Bachrach), and Best TV Comedy Actress (Edebiri), and according to online prediction sites, the show was expected to take home awards in each of the three categories.

In no surprise to fans of the chaotically funny yet heartwarming show, The Bear ended up taking home three awards, with Moss-Bachrach losing to his co-star, White, in the Best TV Comedy Actor category.

White addressed Moss-Bachrach at the beginning of his acceptance speech when he went onstage to retrieve his award.

"Ebon, you are so, so excellent in everything you do—especially in the second season of The Bear," White said. "The work you do is so incredible. I love you so, so much. And the rest of my cast and my crew, I’ll be thanking you guys for the rest of my life.”

The show already won big at the 2023 Emmys that took place in January, where White, 33, took home a lead actor win and Edebiri, 28, and Moss-Bachrach, 46, won for their supporting roles. The series, which was crowned with the Outstanding Comedy Series award, also earned Emmys for writing and directing (Christopher Storer), as well as casting, sound editing, sound mixing and picture editing.
