Beanie Feldstein And Bonnie-Chance Roberts Share A 'Dynamic Attraction,' Says Astrology

Step aside, Sofia Richie, because Beanie Feldstein and longtime partner Bonnie-Chance Roberts’ summer camp-themed ceremony may be taking the crown for wedding of the year. (At least in my fellow WLW eyes—I mean, the custom Bode tuxedo, Gucci dresses, friendship bracelets? Iconic!)

ICYMI: The Booksmart star and film producer wed on May 19, 2023 at Cedar Lakes Estate in Hudson Valley, New York, per Vogue. The longtime partners tied the knot after five years of dating, according to Us Weekly. They first met, like many Hollywood couples, on the set of a film—Coky Giedroyc’s How to Build a Girl, to be exact. The pair “clicked from the very beginning” and spent that entire 2018 summer in London (where the movie was filmed), taking walks, having dinners, and “falling for each other,” according to Vogue.

“From the moment we first kissed, we both knew we would get married,” the Funny Girl alum recalled to the publication. “And months after that, Bon had announced that when the time came, she wanted to be the one to propose to me.” And in 2021, propose Bonnie did.

After 13 months apart—Bonnie in Liverpool and Beanie in Los Angeles—due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the producer got down on one knee and asked the Lady Bird actress to marry her in the backyard of Beanie’s childhood home, Vogue reported. They got engaged, surrounded by friends, 600 mason jars, and hundreds of photos spanning their childhoods as well as their relationship, per the magazine. Two years later, they wed in an intimate, yet star-studded ceremony—with Ben Platt, Sarah Paulson, and Adam Levine among the attendees, per People.

It’s no surprise these two instantly clicked when they first laid eyes on each other, at least according to the stars. “With Beanie and Bonnie, we have a case of ‘opposites attract,’” says intuitive astrologer Rachel Lang. “Beanie’s Sun is in Cancer, and Bonnie’s is in Capricorn. They’re 180 degrees away from one another, which is a signature of dynamic attraction.”

But that just scratches the surface of their cosmic connection. Lang analyzed Beanie and Bonnie’s birth charts to see what their astrological compatibility reveals about the nature of their marriage. And let’s just say, this pair has a bond like no other.

Beanie and Bonnie feel grounded in this relationship, thanks to the Sun and Saturn.

As a Cancer Sun, Beanie’s “primary motivation is creating a nest and developing heart-centered relationships,” explains Lang. But in order for her to pour her all into a partnership, she needs to feel emotionally safe, Lang adds. Thankfully, being a “Capricorn to the core,” according to Lang, Bonnie can provide that emotional safety for Beanie.

Bonnie has six planets in Capricorn—Mercury, Sun, Uranus, Neptune, Venus, and Saturn—plus her North Node destiny point. In other words, “she’s self-motivated and ambitious, with a drive to have a meaningful life,” says Lang. Bonnie's earth sign placements also signify that she’s a “grounding, stable force” for Beanie, per Lang. It’s in Bonnie’s nature to protect and so “Beanie can really be vulnerable in this relationship,” she adds.

And while at times Bonnie’s protective nature may feel stifling for Beanie, “there’s a good indication that she loves the supportive aspects of the relationship,” says Lang. Thanks to Bonnie’s Sun being a favorable trine aspect with Beanie’s Moon (the luminary that rules one’s emotional world), they “feel at home with one another,” and “their relationship can heal family difficulties,” Lang explains. “This is a deep love that offers warmth and sensitivity.” (Can I get an awww?)

But at times, their bond may be too emotionally intense, due to Pluto and Mars’ influence.

There’s no doubt that Bonnie and Beanie (or, B&B, for short) are meant to be. “There’s a deep, fated quality with these two,” says Lang. Bonnie’s Mars (the planet of action and sex drive) in Taurus is in opposition to Beanie’s Pluto (the planet of transformation and renewal) in Scorpio, indicating a natural attraction and chemistry, Lang explains.

Bonnie’s Pluto is also in Scorpio, but it's in opposition to Beanie’s Venus (the planet of love and relationships) in Taurus. Translation: These two have “an intense emotional relationship,” Lang says. “They likely feel pulled toward one another in a way that feels beyond their control.”

Having a profound bond is most likely a positive aspect in any relationship, but it can also has its drawbacks during times of conflict. Lang explains that Mars’ influence presents some power struggles and competition in this ‘ship.

Beanie’s Saturn (the planet of responsibilities and limits) is in a square aspect with Bonnie’s Mars, says Lang. Meaning, at times Bonnie may come across as too hard to Beanie, and they “may need more personal space,” she explains. To overcome this potential challenge, the two will benefit from having a shared purpose and goals they can reach together, Lang says. Giving one another some space to do your own thing from time to time doesn’t hurt either.

Because of Jupiter and Venus, they’re able to help each other shine their own light.

Beanie’s Venus in stable, grounded Taurus is in a favorable trine aspect with Bonnie’s Venus in Capricorn, says Lang. “These two have similar needs in a relationship—they want a partner they can grow and create a stable, solid life with,” she explains. “[They can also] boost one another up and offer support in the attainment of their dreams.”

What’s more? Thanks to Bonnie’s Jupiter (the planet of expansion) in Leo sitting nicely in Beanie’s first house of self, or rising sign, in Leo, “she’s able to help [Beanie] shine her light,” says Lang. Bonnie’s Jupiter bolsters Beanie’s sense of confidence, allowing her to be her best self—both in their relationship and out in the world, Lang explains.

It helps that they have great communication, too, despite their Mercurys (the planet of communication) being in opposite signs, says Lang. “Beanie’s Mars in Virgo is in a favorable trine aspect with Bonnie’s Sun and Mercury in Capricorn,” she explains. Read: “These two energize one another and have the kind of spark that can sustain. They probably laugh a lot together and exchange a lot of ideas,” Lang says.

Despite being astrological opposites, these two lovebirds are always each other’s number one cheerleaders—and that makes their love written in the stars.
