BBQ, music and bounce houses: Erie's annual rib fest will have all three next week

Ribs, music and more will come to Perry Square for four days at the end of May and start of June.

Erie's Wild Rib Cook Off & Music Festival will take place May 29 through June 1 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is free and prices will vary for the food and vendors. A fun zone for kids will be open May 29-31 from 5 to 10 p.m. and June 1 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. A ride pass is $12, according to the festival website.

The ribs

Rib teams scheduled to serve at the festival are: After Hours Barbecue, Carolina Rib King, Outlaw Barbecue Revolution, Johnson's BBQ, Pigfoot BBQ Cooking Team,Salt Creek BBQ, Cowboys BBQ & Rib Co. and Austin's Texas Lightning BBQ.
