BBC reality show makes history as it announces return
BBC reality show The Rap Game UK is confirmed to be returning for a historic sixth series.
The BBC Three series, which aims to find the UK's best unsigned rapper, will return to screens later this year, with Krept, Konan and DJ Target all returning to lead the search.
The show's latest renewal means that The Rap Game UK will become the longest-running unscripted show focused on Black British music and culture across all mainstream television platforms over the last 25 years.

The Rap Game UK will continue to see a group of talented artists compete in a series of challenges, in a bid to win a £20,000 cash prize and a mentorship scheme that will help them to create and launch their own music.
The most recent six-episode series, which concluded in December, saw Lewisham-based rapper LR Loose crowned the winner.
M Huncho, Rimzee, Chip and K-Trap were among the artists who made guest appearances in series five of The Rap Game UK – and in the upcoming series, the latest batch of musical hopefuls will be mentored by more of the biggest names in the UK music scene.

Trent Williams-Jones, the show's executive producer, said: "It's great to be back working with the BBC on the sixth season of The Rap Game UK and we're incredibly proud to be making this show.
"Season five was our most regionally and musically diverse yet with plenty of twists thrown in and once again, we're looking for a rich mix of talented artists with authentic voices on our search for the UK's best unsigned rappers. We're excited to see what new talent emerges!"
Nasfim Haque, who's head of content for BBC Three, added: "BBC Three and iPlayer are proud to be backing new talent from all across the UK as a brand new series returns which promises to showcase the very best emerging rappers in the land."
The Rap Game UK returns to BBC Three later this year. All five series are available to stream now on BBC iPlayer.
