BBC’s I Kissed a Girl is "coming soon" in first look teaser

I Kissed A Boy host Dannii Minogue has shared a first-look teaser at all-new I Kissed A Girl, with the series touted as "coming soon".

The new reality TV show follows the same format as 2023's I Kissed A Boy, with a group of ladies heading into the masseria in a bid to find true love.

The pop star dropped the sneak teaser on X, formerly Twitter, especially for Valentine's Day.

"Hi…my name is Cupid and this year I’m aiming more love arrows in Italy… this time for the girls 👭💘 #IKissedAGirl, coming soon to @BBCThree and @BBCiPlayer #ValentinesDay #RealityTV @bbcthree #love," read the tweet.

The teaser begins with an aerial shot of the Italian hideaway, followed by Minogue twirling into shot.

In another clip, Minogue swaps her pink gown for a red outfit and is seen walking into the masseria, where a distant group of girls are seen sharing a toast and raising their glasses.

"Me? Cupid?," says Minogue, brandishing a fake bow and arrow: "I'm ready."

The teaser concludes with the show's titles and a banner stating the series will be coming soon to BBC iPlayer.

I Kissed A Girl was previously announced during the finale of I Kissed A Boy, with applications opening in June last year.

In an interview with Radio Times last year, Minogue shared how she felt many people had been "wanting a gay dating show" for some time now and it was essential to her that the series be both protective and positive of the demographic it serves.

"The LGBTQ+ community is very important to me, my friends, my people," she said. "I didn't want to be part of anything that was not aligned with my intentions of looking after those people, wanting it to be great for them, wanting it to be a really cool experience.

"So it was a lot of research for me before getting from that first conversation to actually filming it."

I Kissed A Girl will air on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer soon. I Kissed A Boy is available to stream on BBC iPlayer now.
