Baseball: 2024 Section 1 playoff brackets and seeds released

The playoffs are officially here.

Section 1 released its 2024 tournament seedings and brackets on Wednesday. Ketcham (Class AAA), Mahopac (Class AA), Tappan Zee (Class A), Rye Neck (Class B) and Tuckahoe (Class C) all earned No. 1 seeds.

Last year's Section 1 and NYSPHSAA Class AA championship winner Ketcham now headlines the brand-new Class AAA. Another reigning section title winner, Tuckahoe, is the top seed in Class C.

Reigning Section 1 Class A champion Panas and Class B title-winner Albertus Magnus, are back in the running in their respective classes as well.

SUNY Purchase will serve as the host for all Section 1 baseball championship games this year. The Class C finals are scheduled for May 23, while Class AAA, AA, A and B championship games are slated for May 25.

All other games throughout the tournament will be played at the higher remaining seed, unless otherwise specified. Here's a look at the seeds and schedule for each bracket:

QUARTERFINALS
