Bartending mom busted when cops find cocaine on Dr. Seuss book in her home: report
A 24-year-old Applebee’s bartender was arrested Wednesday after police found what appears to be cocaine and a straw on a Dr. Seuss book in her bedroom.
The Smoking Gun reports that Casey Quoka of suburban Tampa also had what Florida cops believed to be marijuana on her bed and a bag of pills “suspected to be MDMA” on a nightstand. The alleged narcotics, which are awaiting a lab test, were accessible to Quoka’s 3-year-old son when law enforcement officers visited her residence around 9 p.m., according to an arrest affidavit posted to the crime site.

That record shows Quoka was charged with neglect of a child. The Smoking Gun reports that Quoka is also accused of leaving her son with “significant bruising” as a result of corporal punishment. She was released Thursday on $5,000 bond.
