Barberton man arrested, charged on suspicion of drug trafficking Thursday

A Barberton man was arrested Thursday in connection to possible drug trafficking, according to the Summit County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies executed a search warrant Thursday at a residence on Wunderlich Avenue in connection to possible drug trafficking taking place at the home. Deputies seized 7.21 grams of cocaine, 8.96 grams of fentanyl, 342.98 grams of methamphetamine and a 9 mm handgun.

Timothy Jackson, 51, was arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine (first-degree felony), trafficking in fentanyl (first-degree felony), trafficking in cocaine (fourth-degree felony), possession of cocaine (fourth-degree felony), and having a weapon under disability (third-degree felony).

Jackson was transported to Summit County Jail.
