The Great British Bake Off series 14 spoilers follow.

The Great British Bake Off 2023's most recently eliminated baker has opened up about her experience on the show in a goodbye note.

During last night's (November 21) patisserie-themed semi-final, Josh, Dan and Matt advanced to the series 14 final, with Tasha having just missed out.

While Dan's Parisian financiers earned him a handshake from Paul Hollywood, Tasha's troubles with her apple tart Technical and showstopper Millefoglie led to her elimination.

Opening up in a goodbye note to the rest of the Bake Off cast, Tasha called the show the "scariest thing" she'd ever done.

"How do I sum up the best thing that has ever happened to me on this little piece of paper?!" Tasha began before telling her 11 co-stars she "love[s them] all to pieces."

Tasha, the show's first-ever deaf contestant, also paid tribute to her BSL interpreter, Daryl, who appeared alongside her in the tent.

"Not just my interpreter, but my contstant advocate and friend. Our baker's dozen's 13th member," she said of Daryl, before adding: "This is the scariest thing I've ever done, but I just wish I could re-live it all over again because oh my goodness what a DREAM it was!"

Elsewhere in the letter, Tasha thanked co-hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding for "the big hugs and the even bigger laughs" and judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith for "pushing [her] to be [her] best and for all the wisdom".

During her time in the tent, Tasha earned the title of Star Baker twice in a row during weeks two and three.

She also missed an episode of the show due to illness, meaning the judges had to eliminate two contestants in the following episode.

The Great British Bake Off and its spin-off Bake Off: An Extra Slice both air on Channel 4 in the UK. In the US, it's known as The Great British Baking Show, and streams on Netflix.
