Bad Bunny’s Rep Says He Didn’t Approve Tweet Dissing Harry Styles at Coachella

Bad Bunny performed at Coachella Weekend #1, and if you were in the audience you may have noticed a tweet about Harry Styles show up behind him during “El Apagón.” Ahem: “Goodnight benito could do as it was but harry could never do el apagon.”

Naturally, everyone immediately read into things since Bad Bunny is dating Kendall Jenner, who used to date Harry Styles. However! Bad Bunny’s rep told Rolling Stone that while he declined to comment, Bad Bunny did not approve the image.

Meanwhile, the visual company in charge of the display for Bad Bunny’s Coachella set confirmed he didn’t approve the Harry Styles tweet, saying, “Our intention is to create light-hearted designs that embody Bad Bunny’s personality and amplify the experience he presents as a performer. The request from the artist during the visuals for ‘El Apagón’ performance was to use the image only and not text from the tweet, which we take responsibility for and correct it for Friday’s performance. These visuals are a celebration of Bad Bunny and his dedication to empowering his native island, Puerto Rico.”

According to Entertainment Tonight, “They’re taking things slow for now and seeing where things go in the future. They both really like each other and are just hanging out and having a good time.
